The Jaffe/Seidel Family
Schmuel Seidel, my paternal grandfather's father. Probably in the late-1920s/early-1930s.

Passover, sometime in the 1950s. Jewish holidays were observed but adherence to Talmudic teachings was lax. At a family reunion in 2003, one cousin asked if anyone had Uncle Sam Miller's crab soup recipe.
